La Carpe d'Or

I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Fontainebleau for the Chateau. Fantastic location for visiting the chateau. Just one block away, and two blocks from the downtown shops and cafés. Very simple hotel with not a lot of amenities, but the price was good and the location was perfect. We were even able to store our luggage after checkout so we could visit the chateau.

Very central in Fontainebleau yet quiet. Very comfortable bed and bedding. Splendid French breakfast! Traditional French Hotel nicely modernized.

Very conveniently located in the heart of the town near the chateau and park

Breakfast was lovely.. We enjoyed the whole experience.
